Muezzin - Frequently Asked Questions
Problem: The Muezzin timings aren't correct!
There are several ways to adjust the timing calculation. Try the following:
- Use the Options screen to adjust the Twilight angle and Asr Method options. You can reach the Options screen by tapping the small 'i' in Muezzin.
- If you are using manual coordinates, double check them, and/or turn off manual coordinates for automatic coordinates instead.
- If you are still seeing the issue, please contact us at support@pulpsoftware.com.
Problem: Muezzin isn't working. I see a "Location Error: Your location appears to not have a sunrise or sunset" error message.
- Muezzin assumes the timezone setting on your phone is set correctly. Make sure your timezone on your device matches the timezone of coordinates you have entered or your current location. You can check this by going to the Settings app, and tapping Date & Time. Set the timezone manually and then re-run Muezzin.
